Optical equipment housing

Carbon fiber is a material with a "negative" coefficient of linear expansion!

●Optical Equipment Housing Utilizing the low thermal expansion properties, which is one of the characteristics of CFRP, we will manufacture housings and structural products with minimal dimensional changes at varying temperatures. 【Overview】 The relationship between the lenses and the tube of a telescope is similar to the structure of the human eye. The lens of the eye, known as the crystalline lens, can change its thickness through the ciliary body, allowing it to adjust the retinal image. In a telescope, the tube can be considered analogous to the retina. However, in telescopes, any displacement in the diameter of the tube can lead to critical defects. Carbon fibers have a negative linear expansion coefficient when considered individually, so it is expected that by orienting them appropriately, we can create structures with “±0” expansion, meaning that the expansion and contraction due to temperature changes will be minimal. ★For more details, please request materials or download the documents★

Moldable shapes of CFRP: Optical equipment housing

We will manufacture enclosures and structural products with minimal dimensional changes at temperature, utilizing the low thermal expansion characteristics that are one of the features of CFRP.

【Overview】 We accept processing into various shapes according to customer specifications. In particular, for round and square pipes, which are often used as structural materials such as trusses, we have a wide variety of molds available for shaping and respond quickly to orders. We can also shape into polygons such as triangles and hexagons, as well as elliptical shapes. ● Optical Equipment Enclosures We utilize the low thermal expansion properties of CFRP to manufacture enclosures and structural products that have minimal dimensional changes with temperature. ★ For more details, please request materials or download the documents ★

Vacuum casting small batch production technology, medical device enclosures.

Silicone rubber molds are produced through master model transfer! Short delivery times are possible with vacuum casting!

Vacuum casting offers cost advantages for resin molded products with annual quantities of less than 100 sets. By using silicone rubber molds instead of metal molds, the total cost is kept low. There is an increasing track record of using UL94 V-0 certified casting materials for resin housings in medical devices, not just for prototypes but for mass production parts. This is a flame-retardant grade polyurethane resin for vacuum casting. It is a material with practical strength and dimensional stability, even for small lot production parts. If you need parts supplied in units of 10 or 20, manufacturing can be faster and cheaper than machined parts. In our vacuum casting process, we can start production as soon as three days after the master model is completed. We can produce 20 vacuum cast parts in three weeks, and with a setup of 15 vacuum casting machines, we can replicate multiple parts simultaneously. You can certainly request us to create the master model, and we can also create silicone rubber molds from your supplied master model. Would you like to try the speed procurement of vacuum casting for application function checks or mold considerations?
